Central Coast Water Pro

Privacy Policy

Last updated 17 September 2026.

This policy explains what personal information Central Coast Water Pro collects, why we collect it, who we give it to, and how you get it back or get it deleted. It covers this website, our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and our phone and SMS line.

We have written it in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ring us and ask.

Who we are

Central Coast Water Pro sells and arranges the installation of whole-home water filtration and reverse osmosis drinking water systems for homes on the NSW Central Coast. We are an independent private business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Central Coast Council, any water authority or any government body.

The plumbing work itself is carried out by an independent licensed NSW plumber engaged for your job. That plumber runs their own business under their own licence and insurance.

What we collect

Information you give us directly. When you fill in the enquiry form on this site, send us the pre-written text message, or ring us, we collect:

If you contact us through a Facebook or Instagram lead form instead of this website, Meta passes us the same details you entered there.

Information collected automatically. When you visit this site we and our advertising providers may record your IP address, rough location, device and browser type, the pages you looked at, how you arrived, and whether you submitted the form or tapped the phone number. This is done with cookies and similar technology — see Cookies and advertising below.

We do not collect sensitive information. We do not ask for, and do not want, health information, government identifiers, or payment card details through this website. Payment for an installation is arranged separately once you have accepted a quote.

Why we collect it and what we do with it

We use your information to:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact lists. Your details are used to serve your enquiry and to run our own business — nothing else.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with parties who need it to deliver what you asked for:

Because some of these providers store data overseas, your information may be held outside Australia. We choose established providers, but once information is held overseas it is also subject to the laws of that country.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses the Meta Pixel. It is a small piece of code from Meta Platforms that loads when you open the page and sets cookies in your browser. It tells us and Meta that a visit happened, which page it was, and whether you submitted the enquiry form or tapped the phone number.

We use it for two things: to measure whether our ads are producing real enquiries, and to show follow-up ads to people who have already visited this site. We never upload your name, email or phone number to Meta from this website.

You can control this:

Text messages and calls

When you send us an enquiry you are asking us to contact you about it, so we will ring, text or email you back. That is the point of the form.

If you would rather we stopped, say so — reply STOP to any text message, tell us on the phone, or ring the number at the bottom of this page. We will stop contacting you for marketing purposes. We may still need to contact you about an installation you have already booked, or about a warranty matter on a system we installed.

How long we keep it

If you enquire and do not proceed, we keep your enquiry so we know we have already spoken to you and do not chase you twice. If you ask us to delete it, we will.

If we install a system for you, we keep the job record for as long as we need it to honour the warranty, supply cartridges, and meet our record-keeping and tax obligations — and then we dispose of it.

Keeping it safe

Enquiries submitted through this site are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in password-protected, access-controlled systems. Access is limited to the people who need it to do the job. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — but if a breach ever occurred that was likely to cause you serious harm, we would notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Getting your information, or getting it deleted

You can ask us at any time to:

Ring the number below and ask. We do not charge for this, and we will deal with it within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm who you are first, so that we are not handing your details to somebody else.

If you are not happy with how we handled it

Tell us first — ring us and say so, and we will try to sort it out directly. If you are still not satisfied, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. The version on this page is always the current one.
